CFHR is an interdisciplinary research group comprising researchers from care science and related fields. The group is united by a shared commitment to health equity, with a particular focus on the health and well-being of children, families, and family caregivers in relation to the responsibilities and mission of the healthcare system. The aim is to generate research findings that are useful in healthcare and that promote the health of children, families, and family caregivers.

Our Research

Practice-near and co-designed research are guiding principles that underpin research processes, focus, and implementation. The members of the research group therefore collaborate with practitioners, patients, family members, and interest organizations, as well as with national and international research environments.

The research is conducted in close collaboration with the Specialist Paediatric Nursing Programme. We welcome ideas, projects, and collaborations that align with the group’s commitment and focus. Practitioners and patient- and family-organizations are warmly invited to contact us for dialogue and knowledge exchange.
