About the course
The aim of the course is for the students to get basic knowledge in the field of Internet of Things. This includes both technical knowledge, as well as knowledge about the opportunities and risks of the technology.

- Knowledge of various communication technologies such as WiFi and Bluetooth
- Knowledge of security risks linked to the technology
- Knowledge of privacy issues associated with the technology
- Knowledge of different use cases for the technology such as "smart homes", "smart cities", "smart health" and "smart learning"

Malmö University provides students who participate in, or who have completed a course, with the opportunity to express their opinions and describe their experiences of the course by completing a course evaluation administered by the University.
