Course content

The course aims to provide the student with knowledge to develop digital business opportunities, and to give the student the opportunity to develop abilities to work under uncertainty when developing new solutions for existing but also future socially relevant problems (which includes for-profit business ideas as well as social and societal ideas). Within the course, sustainability is handled as a central theme together with underlying ethical aspects, which form the basis of how the student discusses existing business models, how they work to solve societal problems by means of developing business opportunities based on the creation of socially useful and productive entrepreneurial ideas. The student uses her/his competence in digital practices to develop business opportunities that also consider inclusion and exclusion.

Course evaluation

Malmö University provides students who participate in, or who have completed a course, with the opportunity to express their opinions and describe their experiences of the course by completing a course evaluation administered by the University. The University will compile and summarise the results of course evaluations. The University will also inform participants of the results and any decisions relating to measures taken in response to the course evaluations. The results will be made available to the students (HF 1:14).
