Valentine's concert with Malmö Academic Choir

Malmö Academic Choir and Orchestra’s Valentine’s concerts are a recurring part of our concert season. These concerts have addressed various themes related to this day of love, ranging from heartbreak and complicated entanglements to romance and grand declarations. This year, we have chosen the theme of intimacy, a topic with many layers. What is intimacy? How are intimacy and music connected? In this Valentine’s concert, we explore the concept and its relationship to music and poetry.

The concert also features Charlotta Löfgren, professor of health and society at Malmö University, who specialises in sexology and sexuality studies. Her research areas include online dating as well as how the internet relates to love, sex, and consent.
