The symposium will take place at Malmö University and will include lunch and dinner on Thursday. For the symposium, we plan a varied programme with invited keynote speakers combined with sessions, where you are invited to present and discuss your work in organisation studies.

Our research environment in Malmö is interdisciplinary and composed of researchers from across different faculties at the university, and we have a new doctoral education in Organisation Studies based at the Department of Urban Studies. We focus on organisations from the spirit of critical thinking, global engagement, sustainability, and inclusion to the generation and development of new forms of organising both in public, non-governmental and private spheres.

If you wish to present your work, we ask for a small abstract of approximately 500 words to be sent no later than 23 August.

  • Deadline for abstract submissions: 25 August
  • Deadline for registration without paper presentation: 25 August
  • Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 1 September

Abstracts and registrations are to be sent to Tracy Trägårdh. Paper presentation will be 20 minutes each, including Q&A.
