What is UNIC?

UNIC is the European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition, an alliance of ten universities across Europe who are working with their cities and with one another to tackle urban challenges and develop shared, sustainable futures.

What is Superdiversity?

Superdiversity is one of the pillars and defining features of the UNIC alliance. The term was coined by Steven Vertovec and refers to the increased and complex forms of diversification and the existence of multiple identity markers that intertwine to shape the socio-cultural reality around us.
