10.15–12.00. Keith E. Cantú (Harvard Divinity School) presents a research project on religious specialists and Tantric pilgrimages around the Bay of Bengal (Modern Siddhas Along the Bay of Bengal: Tantric Pilgrimage, Vernacular Archives, and Transregional Networks). In English.

13.15–15.00. Katarina Johansson (Åbo Akademi University) presents her doctoral dissertation on mystical experiences as a source of meaning-making in the contemporary Nordic countries. The dissertation shows that mystical experiences can provide a resource for health and wellbeing, giving a sense of being part of something larger and making life feel more meaningful, exciting, and joyful.
