Get to know Malmö University – a place for everyone
Get a sense of who we are! Malmö University welcomes you to visit our city campus, a place for everyone! During the day you will get an introduction to the University, meet students and staff, and partake in optional activities highlighting what it is like to study at Malmö University and what we have to offer.

This day will make you confident that your students will be taken good care of at Malmö University – a place for everyone.
Programme
Malmö Inspires welcome talk and coffee
Start the day with registration and a welcoming speech from our Vice-Chancellor (Mia Rönnmar), coffee and light breakfast.
Session on widened recruitment and participation (40 minutes)
Learn how Malmö University works with widened recruitment. Get an insight into how our philosophy and way of thinking trickle down to some of the activities we host for all students, national, international and exchange students alike. One prime example that will be brought up is our very successful Buddy Programme for incoming exchange and International full-degree students alike.
Talk with students and faculties
Lunch at Niagara Restaurant (your students are welcome to join us!)
Optional activity
- Bike ride and icecream by the pier
- Get to see the Öresund Bridge and Turning Torse with a bike ride through Malmö – showcasing our lovely beaches, parks and city. Did you know? You can bike from one end of Malmö to the other in 15 minutes.
- Continue the talk at faculty level
- Do you need more time to talk with some of your contacts at the university. No problem we have set aside some extra time for you to schedule everyone in.
- Boat tour in the canal
- Visit the Student Centre for a knowledge-sharing session
- Do you work in a specific field and you are interested in how we work with the same task at Malmö University – sign up for a knowledge-sharing session on your topic!
- Unibuddy session – how do we use this tool in our day-to-day work?
- We have tried a range of tools to reach out to our students, but not all have worked so successfully, get our thoughts and opinions on our different digital tools and learn more about the one we are happy with today!

Train to Gothenburg for EAIE Conference
Join the Malmö University team as we take the train up to Gothenburg in the evening. We will all meet at the train station, and we can assist in purchasing the ticket and the journey from start to end.

How to get to Malmö University
How to get here
Trains from Copenhagen run regularly, and you can get tickets at the airport. Destination: Malmö C. Find more information regarding directions on our website. Trains to/from Gothenburg run every hour, and tickets can be bought in advance online. The high-speed train takes around 2,5 hours and the regular train takes just over 3 hours.

- Located in the city center, 10 min walk from the central station, you can find this recently refurbished, quiet hotel. It has a sauna, a rooftop garden for sunny days, and a bistro.

- The Comfort Hotel Malmö is an urban hotel situated right next to Malmö central. They offer newly refurbished rooms, a “playground” for adults, gym and a small bar.

- Located close to Triangeln train station, and the bustling areas
