Queer Networked Resistance in Turkey – A Seminar with Onur Kilic

In a turbulent era marked by growing anti-gender sentiment and right-wing populism, how do queer movements organize resistance? How do they reclaim space—both physical and digital—in the face of increasing political and epistemic violence?

We invite you to a seminar with Onur Kilic, a postdoctoral researcher at Humlab, Umeå University, who will share insights from his doctoral research titled "Lubunya Assemblages: Queer Networked Resistances in Turkey".

In this talk, Onur Kilic explores queer resistance beyond the binary of online and offline activism and explore how an assemblage of queer subjects, spaces, and affects sustain resistance in the face of political and epistemic violence.
