Presentation
Bodil Liljefors Persson is Ph D, Professor, in History of religions at the Faculty of Education and Society at Malmö University. I have conducted fieldwork on the Yukatec peninsula in Mexico for many years and my research focus on Maya culture, religon, history, iconography and rituals from Colonial times up to pesent time. I also conduct research in Religion didactics, cultural encounters and diversity, Citizenship Education, Sexuality and relations Education as well as on youth and values education and subject literacy within the field on Social science education and especially on Religious education. I am Board Member Administrative Council and Coordinator for Sweden in WAYEB, Asociación Europea de Mayistas. Link: www.wayeb.org and Chair of Föreningen för lärare i religionskunskap, FLR.
