I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Internet of Things and People (IoTAP) Research Center and the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology at Malmö University, Sweden. My research interests include the engineering of context-aware, self-adaptive, intelligent, and trustworthy IoT systems with particular focus on their software and system architectures and processes. I completed my PhD in Computer Science from Malmö University in 2020, where I was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Romina Spalazzese and Prof. Paul Davidsson. Additionally, I hold a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy and a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Technology from the Arab American University, Palestine.

In addition to my academic capacity, I have professional experience of more than seven years working on multiple software development projects in international organizations and companies, such as the United Nations, Tetra Tech DPK, GVC-Italia, and FreightOS, where I played different roles, such as a senior software engineer, a team lead, and a technical program manager. During those years, I have gained valuable experience, collaborating directly with various stakeholders to design, develop, evaluate, and extend large-scale software systems. I achieved excellent results in all the projects that I worked on and reached my individual goals and the goals of the teams I managed.
