Presentation

Israa is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Social Work at Malmö University. She is a social worker with a master's degree in social work, specializing in issues of unemployment and poverty. Currently, Israa is conducting research about social work during crises and times of change. It refers to studies on the significance of the pandemic as a crisis and the impact of increased digitization as a comprehensive change in social work. The focus is on changes divided into three main levels: the profession, the client, and the relationship between them in a post-covid world. It is crucial to understand how the profession, the professional practice, and human relations have evolved in a digital society, where technology has become an indispensable tool.

Israa's research interests revolve mainly around questions related to organizations, professions, migration, children, and youth.
