Presentation

I am a sociologist with broad expertise in the social sciences and research experience focused on politics and democratic issues. In recent years, my work has examined policy professionals and political processes within civil society, as well as the role of think tanks in policy development. I frequently use qualitative, ethnographic methods in my research. Most recently, I have studied how private and non-state actors, such as think tanks and business associations, seek to influence global climate policy within the framework of the UNFCCC. I teach courses in political science, climate politics, and qualitative methods across several programmes at the Department of Global Political Studies.
