My academic focus lies in exploring the cognitive and social conditions of knowledge formation. Inspired by the American pragmatist Charles Sanders Peirce’s theory of thought, I advocate for an understanding of knowledge as transient and learning as a socially and emotionally guided process. This perspective leads me to approach the formalized spaces of education with both critical reflection and constructive engagement. In my research and teaching, I aim to illuminate and guide toward what is not yet known—always grounded in what we recognize and understand through experience. I believe that meaningful learning emerges in the interplay between curiosity, emotion, and shared inquiry. I primarily teach theory of science and childhood sociology within the preschool teacher education program, as well as pedagogy at the master’s level.
