Presentation
PhD in Social Work (2015), Associate Professor in Social Work (2022).
My research broadly focuses on the significance of structuring practices such as evaluation, standardization, and digitalization for professional social work and social work organizations. My work on evaluation has concentrated on the relationship between governance and evaluation, as well as the dynamics of power and evaluation, including studies on social investments as an evaluative approach and examining how evaluation concepts are translated across institutional contexts. I have also explored the role of standardization in social work, through studies of assessment tools for social assistance and management systems for systematic quality work. A third area of focus is digitalization and its significance on the relationship between social workers and clients. Within this theme, I have researched social services during COVID-19 and the automation of social assistance. Currently, I am investigating how social worker participation contributes to the convergence of social and organizational practices in the implementation of automated decision-making.
In my teaching, I supervise undergraduate and master’s students as well as doctoral candidates and serve as course director for master’s thesis projects. I also organize the department’s seminar series.
