Presentation

Feminist technoscientist exploring tensions, possibilities and power asymmetries in science-technology-society relations, working in-between feminist and postcolonial science and technology studies, posthumanities, responsible innovation, critical design practices, and media technologies. I like working with norm-critical, intersectional and creative methodologies.

I am currently working in the Nordic research project DIGeMERGE where we are studying the use of digital communication platforms and tools in European countries; Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The overall goal of DIGeMERGE is to understand both the everyday practical challenges of digitizing the emergency services and the deeper implications for the relationship between state and citizen. The project pursues this goal by examining challenges linked to new digital emergency communication tools and related debates about societal and individual responsibility, protection needs, vulnerability and rights.
