Lotta Anderson, special teacher, Ph. D. & Associate professor in science education, focusing special needs education. Working in different courses in the special education program and is responsible of courses in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) concerning manual signs. A national longitudinal project focused social networks and children and young people with complex communication needs and intellectual disability. Another project was conducted 2011. In 2009 another project started and highlights how the WHO classification, the ICF is used within the framework of a partnership between families and professionals with a focus on children with AAC needs. Yet another project dealing with assessment for learning in special school was completed in spring 2016. Follow-up has been continuously. A project om assessment for learning in another special school started was performed 2017 - 2019. Studies on student with disability in higher education are another area in focus as well as students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in primary school
