About the project
This research project aims to evaluate and strengthen Malmö city’s strategic climate transition efforts by establishing a knowledge alliance between Malmö University, Malmö City’s environmental department, and the association HÅLLPUNKT. The project uses Malmö’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives with climate contracts as part of the broader “Climate Transition Malmö” program.
These efforts provide an empirical basis for analyzing and improving methods that enable the city to achieve its climate goals while promoting knowledge sharing and policy development.
Through methods such as participatory design, service design, and deliberative processes, researchers from Malmö University work closely with the environmental department to analyze the city’s climate transition. HÅLLPUNKT’s involvement ensures that local associations play a central role in driving this transition.
