About the project

The project aims at conducting a comprehensive study for the problem of distributed generation of hybrid energy systems with renewable sources based on the Internet of Things (IoT), and managing distributed data and information flows. In hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) a large amount of data collected through IoT devices is involved in the assessment of the state of systems to support energy management, system operation and decision-making.

Additionally, data on weather, geographical location, are required. In this project, the design of interfaces between information systems based on artificial intelligence is expected. This approach will make it possible to increase the efficiency of HRES planning and its management, as well as the efficiency of data processing in real conditions. The proposed solution is closely linked to achieving Sustainable Development Goals. Primarily Goal 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy”, Goal 12 “Responsible consumption and Production”, Goal 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, and Goal 9 “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”.
