Project description

The project aims to investigate experiences and emotional conflicts among caseworkers with a minority background in Swedish welfare institutions. The project will use both qualitative (interviews) and quantitative (survey) methods to understand different aspects of how emotional labor is experienced and to measure emotional labor, experience of workplace discrimination and factors such as stress.

The project's research contribution is to provide in-depth knowledge about racialized emotional work in Swedish welfare institutions.
