About the project
This doctoral project aims to study root-filled teeth in terms of tooth survival and further treatment over time. Also, to study whether there are factors, on clinical, patient and tooth level, that may influence these outcomes. The studies are based on data from Swedish national registers and dental records within the public dental care organisation of Örebro County. The goal is to increase our knowledge about what happens to root-filled teeth over time and the possible factors that can have an impact. In everyday clinical practice, increased knowledge among dentists can influence treatment planning and prognosis assessment, enhancing sustainability in dental care.
