Camilla is a PhD candidate in Science education, and has a BA and MA in Gender studies. Her research interests include the epistemological and political foundations of educational reforms for inclusion and equality, and how these changes are produced through policy, research and practice.

In her dissertation, she explores informal education promoting immigrant integration through recreational activities in nature. Inspired by curriculum studies and psychoanalysis she examines how activities in nature are assumed to facilitate integration to Swedish society and what notions of nation, nature and integration such reforms establishes.

In addition, Camilla is a lecturer at the teacher’s education.
