Presentation
Dorotea Gajdek is a Doctoral Student at the Department of Materials Science and Applied Mathematics. She works in the group of Dr. Lindsay R. Merte. Her research focuses on preparation and characterization of ultra-thin films within catalysis. She puts particular focus on studying these materials under conditions used in technologically relevant applications using Synchrotron X-ray techniques such as X-ray Absorption Fine Structure Spectroscopy (XAFS), Surface X-ray Diffraction (SXRD) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS).
Education: 2016 BSc degree in Applied Chemistry, University of Zagreb; Zagreb, Croatia 2018 MSc degree in Advanced and Applied Chemistry with specialization in Catalysis and Nanotechnology, Technical University of Denmark (DTU); Kgs Lyngby, Denmark
