Presentation

My research focuses on Swedish family migration: how waiting is experienced by families wishing to settle in Sweden; how time is used as a control mechanism in Swedish family migration, and the inequalities generated between families under said structures. I am a qualitative scholar with vast experience in interview methods, but I am also trained in quantitative methods. My research interests include a range of migration-related topics, such as transnational family studies, integration in theory and praxis, as well as issues regarding refugee migration. Alongside my academic track I have significant experience of working with refugees and surrounding policies both in NGOs and professonally.
