My research focuses on how waiting is experienced by professionals and families with a connection to the Swedish family reunification process. My academic background is in both Public Health and Migration Studies. I combine these two fields in my dissertation by looking at the implications of waiting for family reunification, using a mixed method approach. My research interests include migration and health, family migration, transnationalism, waiting and policy changes' connection to health outcomes.
