My main research interest is the development of non-invasive sensing technologies. My research focuses on how complex biological fluids, such as saliva and other physiological samples, can be used to identify disease and monitor biological processes without the need for invasive sampling. By combining electrochemical sensors, electronic tongue systems, and machine learning, I develop novel analytical strategies to extract clinically relevant information from complex biological systems.

My research is inherently interdisciplinary, integrating analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, biointerface science, and data-driven methods to develop robust point-of-care diagnostic solutions. A particular focus is on understanding the interactions between sensor surfaces and biological systems, as well as applying artificial intelligence to interpret complex analytical data. The overall goal is to develop the next generation of diagnostic technologies that enable earlier disease detection, improved treatment monitoring, and a deeper understanding of biological processes.
