We are a group of researchers exploring socio-cultural relationships with the Ocean. We are interested in imagining and prototyping new ways of living together that can support a shift from ‘living from’ to ‘living with’ and ‘living as’ the Ocean in coastal regions.

Our Research

In our work, we combine different bodies of knowledge - both academic and experiential - and we support different groups in exploring their own ways to transform their relations to the Ocean.

Through an interdisciplinary approach, we aim at contributing to contemporary research on more-than-human and regenerative design with a special focus on questions of participation and collaboration. We strive towards engaging different societal partners as a way to strengthen the impact of our research as well as to develop the research questions and research work together with them.
