The research group serves as a foundation for knowledge development and research on issues related to higher education pedagogy in areas central to the department’s other research groups. At regular seminars, we discuss and advance research in higher education pedagogy as well as pedagogical practice.

Our Research

The Higher Education Pedagogy Research Group explores pedagogical issues and how university faculty and researchers can contribute to fulfilling the goals of the Higher Education Act (1992:1434) to promote gender equality, sustainable development, economic and social welfare, and justice. We do this by examining exclusionary mechanisms and patterns of behavior—such as inaccessibility or discriminatory attitudes—from an intersectional perspective.
