Ju Liu is an associate professor with teaching and research experiences on organisation, innovation, sustainability, globalisation, and entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in innovation study, a master degree in Business Administration, and a bachelor degree in Electric Engineering. Before joining in MAU, she had worked in Lund University, Tampere University (Finland), Aalborg University (Denmark), ETH Zurich (Switzerland), and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (China). She has been an adviser and consultant of China and Europe-based multinational companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, government agencies and international organisations. Ju Liu has rich experience of conducting and coordinating international research projects particularly about innovation in Europe and in emerging economies. These projects are financed by European Commission, Swedish Central Bank, Wallenberg Foundation, Volkswagen Foundation, Tekes Finland, National Natural Science Foundation China, and other funding bodies. Ju Liu is a special issue editor of Industry and Innovation, a book review editor of African Journal of Science, Technology, and a scientific committee member of Innovation and Development. She is also an external research grant evaluator of Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
