Presentation

My research can be divided into two partially interconnected areas: history education and assessment and grading. With regard to history education, I have conducted research on how the school subject of history is represented in curriculum documents, national tests, and student responses. I also carry out practice‑based classroom research on the teaching of history and adjacent social studies subjects, including within a ULF project where subject didactics intersects with relational pedagogy. In the area of assessment and grading, I have conducted research on teachers’ test construction and am also involved in ULF projects focusing on summative assessment and grading.
