Presentation

I am a senior lecturer in mathematics edcutation at Malmö University. My research is about mathematical dialogue and how teachers can promote interaction and participation in the mathematics classroom. I am particularly interested in

  • listening in mathematics
  • use of mathematical questions
  • inclusion of all students in mathematical conversations

During 2024-2026, I also have a postdoctor position, focusing on school-based research. The purpose of the postdoc is to contribute to knowledge about how school-based collaborative research within ULF (Education, Learning, Research) can develop teachers' learning processes and their teaching. This is done, among other things, within the network "A broad mathematics education network", which is a network in which four researchers and 16 mathematics teachers collaborate together in small research projects.

My background as a teacher is in upper secondary school, in mathematics and computer programming. Today I teach in the subject teacher program, mainly in mathematics.
