About the project
The project focuses on the use of plays and poems in the English language classroom in primary education. Specifically, it aims to investigate how teachers can use these texts to promote pupils' literary competence as well as vocabulary learning, and how pupils engage with them. Drawing from literary, linguistic, and learning theories and from empirical research the goal is to investigate the potential of these literary genres to inspire literary appreciation and language learning.
