Jesper Sjöström, Professor of Science Education. Is the faculty coordinator of the subject teacher education at Malmö University as well as the Master education in Subject didactics.

Is currently especially interested in the following four interconnected tracks of research: (1) Vision III of scientific literacy and science education, (2) Bildung-oriented education for sustainability (e.g. socio-scientific issues), (3) Didaktik models and modelling in different subject-areas (e.g. green chemistry) and for transdisciplinarity, and (4) implications for teacher education and professional development (especially chemistry, all ages).
