Osa Lundberg is a Senior Lecturer in Education at Malmö University. Her research focuses on race, racialisation, whiteness, belonging, and social justice in educational settings. Using ethnographic and qualitative approaches, she examines how norms, power relations, and notions of national identity are reproduced and challenged in early childhood education, compulsory schooling, and teacher education.

Drawing on curriculum theory, critical race theory, and whiteness studies, her work explores how educational content, traditions, and everyday practices contribute to the construction of official knowledge and social positioning. A particular area of interest concerns how teachers and student teachers develop racial literacy, professional agency, and the courage to address racism and discrimination.
