Transport and Mobility Studies is a multidisciplinary research area and a research group that consists of researchers from several social science disciplines that share an interest in the function, dynamics and transformation of transport systems and mobilities.

Our Research

  • Mobility and accessibility of various groups
  • Travelers’ behaviour and experiences
  • Freight transports and the organisations of businesses, including business models.
  • Public transport
  • Infrastructure and the built environment.

Education

Our research feeds directly into our teaching in courses offered by programs at the Department of Urban Studies, including the Bachelor of Urban Development and Planning, Master's in Urban Studies, Master's in Sustainable Development, and Urban Business and Development – Real Estate and Transport.
