Project description

In my PhD project, I study the production as well as lived experiences of housing quality in Sweden. Furthermore, the project examines the use and meaning of the concept of housing quality. Housing quality is often discussed in terms of material aspects, but I will include also “social aspects”, with the purpose of providing a comprehensive understanding of it. I work with qualitative methods – mainly interviews and document analysis – and take on a perspective of (in)equality, with theoretical starting points in critical urban theory together with feminist ethics of care.
