Our Research

The Humanities Research Group at the Department of Artsand Communication (K3) is dedicated to the study of art and (mainly aesthetic) culture from a humanistic perspective. We are particularly interested in how art and culture relate to other parts of society and in their political functions.

The group collaborates closely with the Nordic Network for Research on Working-Class Literature. The researchers come from disciplines such as literature, art history, linguistics, creative writing and history.
