Presentation

Words shape worlds, as well as political organisations, identities, and health outcomes. This thought has travelled with me through my BA in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences with the University of Washington (2017) into my MMSc in Global Health with Gothenburg University (2021) and now into my doctoral studies with Global Political Studies with Malmö University and the WASP-HS Graduate School. The goal of my research is to improve equitable access to health information through technological innovation. The work is a futuring project which imagines a novel solution to health communications. Along the way I engage in the potentials and limitations of AI technology to help us navigate transnational and transcultural ontological boundaries, and consider how the expression of ideas structures our view, and understanding, of the world we inhabit. These broad topics are brought into focus through a participatory approach to speculative design which seeks to develop a new technology offering precision health communication.
