Elisabet M. Nilsson, PhD in Educational sciences, Associate professor in Interaction Design at the School of Arts and Communication (K3), Malmö University in Sweden. Through participatory action research, Nilsson explores conditions for human and more-than-human inclusion and participation in design, and how such approaches can translate into real-world impact. She is also engaged in educational design research and the development of Open Educational Resources (OER). Her current work explores how more-than-human design and reflective sustainable data practices can be taught and integrated into future design education curricula. In one way or another, all her projects circulate around matters of sustainability with a focus on tools and methods for prototyping alternative futures and promoting dialogue, collaboration and knowledge transfer. Alongside her research, she teaches in the Interaction Design Master’s and Bachelor’s Programmes at K3.
